Subscriptions
- Manage or cancel Premium: apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions, or on your iPhone open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Cancelling keeps Premium active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Free trial: the trial converts to a paid subscription when it ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours beforehand. The app sends a reminder before it ends if you have allowed notifications.
- Restore Premium on a new phone: in the app, open Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple ID you bought with.
- Refunds: Apple handles all App Store payments and refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Common questions
Do I need headphones?
For binaural beats, yes. They work by playing a slightly different tone to each ear, so a speaker cannot produce the effect. Every soundscape still sounds good on a speaker; you just will not get the binaural component.
Why does a soundscape sound different every time?
Because it is. HertzShift generates each soundscape live on your phone instead of playing a recording, so no two listens are the same. Nothing is downloaded or streamed.
Is my data safe?
There is no account, and your favorites and history sync through your own private iCloud, which we cannot read. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Is this a medical treatment?
No. HertzShift is for relaxation, focus, and sleep support, not for diagnosing or treating anything. If you have a health concern, talk to a clinician. Please do not use it while driving.
